Joomla jtablesession::Store Failed DB function failed with error is a much worriable error and it takes your site to down and cant work with the site.I too experienced with it more than twice a day.

So whenever i have seen the problem, i will always look for a solution across the net. But most of the time, it was not get solved.

Because the reason behind the issue is somewhat different from other. Here I gathered few solutions which may help you to solve your problem.

  • Empty the sessions table on your phpmyadmin.
  • Table Prefix Problem.
  • Repair the Session Table using PHPmyadmin

These are the possible solutions to solve your Problem. Now lets try each one.

joomla-error-solution.

1.Empty the sessions table on your phpmyadmin :

This is a very basic try it if the remaining two options not helping you.  there is nothing special in it. Just goto your PHPMyAdmin and move to the Joomla database and open sessions table, which is available with some prefix, based on your installation.

Just select the Checkbox before the table name and press empty button, Which will remove all the content of the sessions table, than come the front page. it wont show you the error.

2.Table Prefix Problem :

This problem happens, while migrating your joomla from one hosting to another. So it may be a table prefix, is not changed properly. So check the table prefix on the PhpMyAdmin and open your joomla root folder and edit the configuration.php file and change the “$dbprefix = ‘iaqe_’; ” based on your table data.

3. Repair the Session Table using PHPmyadmin :

This is one of a  helpful method. The problem happens because of the session creation problems, which will clash with your browser and session table. So the solution is just move to your PHPymadmin and open Joomla table and select Sessions table and press repair button and repair it. And check again on your Joomla front end.

I Hope above methods help you to solve your Error. If you still have the problem.,  comment below.
