Apache Server is not Starting after Skype Installation

Apache Server is not Starting after Skype Installation. This is generally , most of the freelancers and web developers used to face this problem . Actually, it conflicts with same port.  For the  Skype’s convenient, they coded to use the Post, 80, 443 for better port connectivity to Skype app, But the fate stands here , the Apache is also configured the default port number of 80, 443. So here, both of the ports conflicting each other.

For this problem, we have two solutions. either we need to change the port number of Apache, or port number  of Skype. I prefer to change the Skype port number, which is even simple to do.  You can do this on your  Skype settings.

Just follow the steps to finish it.

Goto skype and  Tools  on the menu , than followed by ” Options” . Here it will open the skype settings page. as like the following image.

Yes, Advanced -> Connecti0ns

Here you can able to see a checkbox, which makes the Skype to use the 80, 443 ports.  So just uncheck it , than restart the Skype to take effect.

That’s it, here after you dont need to worry about the Skype and Apache conflicts because of Port numbers.
